Bill Mefford from the General Board of Church and Society will be in SC to share and facilitate discussions around advocacy for immigration reform.  Below are the scheduled dates and times for training.  Please share this information with your congregations, colleagues, and with the district connectional ministries team and district offices.  I hope you all will be able to attend the training in your area and will invite folks who are want to get involved or think they may want to get involved to the training as well.

Bill Mefford is leader in seeking justice for our neighbors.  His training will be a time for deep discussion on how we can advocate for justice for our neighbors in SC and nationwide.   These training sessions will be also great time to hear from one of great leaders from the General Board of Church and Society about what we as United Methodist Churches are doing and can do.
